Love it in the shade in the summer....don't like it on evergreens with snow on the ground. Just planted a Cornus hesseyii 'Garden Glow' in yellow/chartreuse. Will give you updates as it grows. On the bees, yes, lots of them lately but mostly bumble.

Layanee, I'll look forward to watching your new Cornus - you know, it's because of your pictures that I raised my hand for the Tiger Eye sumac in the Display Garden! -kris

Pink. But I don't want to talk about it, so that's all I'll say about that!!!
;-P

By the way, I adore that tricolor hypericum. I had 1 'Goldan Tusan' (sp?) planted next to my two 'Albury Purple' hypericums, but the golden one didn't live the winter, unfortunately.

Ha! I almost can't believe it - makes me wonder if I'm going to go through a yellow phase... And the tricolor hypericum will probably die back to the ground for us - it's on the marginal side... -kris
