Kris: Confessions time...I have been using your 'trench manicure' line to explain the hands! Still LOL. Love green flowers. What is better than green flowers? Like you said, restful to the eye. I rest my eyes on the soothing drifts of foliage of ferns, the Kirengeshoma leaves and the hosta leaves. Also, the rock ledge has a soothing presence in the garden. Wish I had been on this tour with you! I am happy to hear you had time for a break from the rigors of the garden.

Layanee, Pretty soon everyone will want to treat their paws to a trench manicure! And what's better than green flowers, you ask -- not much says me. Except, perhaps, orange flowers... ! -kris

Green may disappear in the landscape, but it is fabulous in floral arrangements.
I love the greenish hydrangeas like Limelight.

Mother Nature, I think you're right in that green can be easily overlooked in the landscape - and sometimes it's fabulous floral arrangements that remind us to keep our eyes out for it! -kris
