The dogs are totally to blame. Lots of walking time and dog park time used to be asana time. God knows what kids would do to the routine! And my lapse is really more like a year and a half since a dedicated practice (blame Slaterville). It's just 6 weeks since last I caught a class by chance.

The truth comes out! Glad I'm not the only one (that's not very yogi of me is it?) -kris

Wintry mixes do make for nice photographs. I especially like the one at bottom left--beautiful contrasts there. What is the photo tool you use for the photo pop-ups? It's a nice effect. As for your question, I'd have to agree that movement is the best antidote. It also helps you sleep well at night. That said, I haven't been to yoga in 6 wks, but I walk the dog twice a day :) Have fun!

Thanks, Lynn -- the cool photo trick is a Wordpress plug-in called "lightbox". And (parallel lives again) I've been blaming my dog for a 6 month lapse in my yoga practice! -kris

I either take a nap, succumbing to the stupor, or, get a cup of coffee! Maybe a few Yoga stretches. I need to get out those catalogs and start ordering. Have you finalized the color scheme?

I've tried caffeine - mostly in the form of chocolate - but I forgot about yoga. Maybe if I did a handstand I'd wake up... And no, we're working on several color schemes and none have reached the finish line yet. We're still going to try least favorite colors in at least one garden though! -kris

Hi Kris and Gail,
Well, I'm writing this at 1am...had company and coffee....feeling heavy?..why YES!! oh, figuratively and literally!!! Having the post-holiday gee ,I still want chocolate and lots of buttered toast and tea and I really don't want to take a walk cause the "feel like' temperature is -5 degrees..but..I'm trying very hard to take a long walk every day,,doesn't always happen...a winter landscape is so cool tho..the shapes of the natural landscape covered in snow, or like wednesday, ice, or just starkly bare,,,I SEE the shapes more clearly...as for the planning, my brain some days says..not yet, not yet, I'm not ready to plan color yet...!! its a strange conflict!its sort of like the stores displaying Xmas decorations right after Halloween...anyway,good luck on your treadmill speed races..Norma

Norma, I never considered that we might be putting up early xmas decorations! Too funny. But if we don't start "decorating" now, we'll miss our chance... I think a walk is a good idea, but I'm with you - I'd rather stay in where it's warm eating carbs and chocolate! -kris
