Several years ago in April we went to Blithewold to see the daffodils. We took a picnic lunch. When we sat down at the picnic table it started to snow! We admired the daffodils that were out in front of the mansion, finished our lunch, and retreated to our car. It was an interesting, pretty, but chilly day:)

Thanks for the up-date on the storm damage. Glad there was no major tree damage...but what a head ache for the garden and grounds staff( and volunteers) just when everything was in such perfect condition for opening day. Good luck with the clean up and we will keep our fingers crossed that there isn't any more damage.
