We took a picnic lunch. When we sat down at the picnic table it started to snow! We admired the daffodils that were out in front of the mansion, finished our lunch,and retreated to our car. Glad there was no major tree damage...but what a head ache for the garden and grounds staff( and volunteers) just when everything was in such perfect condition for opening day.
