I'm very late in getting around to look at bloom day posts, but I'm glad I got around to Blithewold to see the fall flowers and colors. Thanks for joining in again!

You have a lot of traveling to do come bloom day! Thanks for visiting Blithewold (and thanks as always for hosting GBBD)! -kris

No disappointment of bloom at Blithewold! I know what you mean about the fall color. I have been sweaving of late to get a better look at the foliage. Better than the cell phone issues of driving and talking. Driving and leaf peeping....LOL

Just this morning I listened to part of a report on NPR about the dangers of Driving While Distracted and they didn't mention orange foliage at all! -kris

I had to laugh about the wedding planner stuffing in plants to get good photos. It reminds me of my wedding photos, where the photographer ripped out a chunk of turf & plopped it over an unsightly sprinkler head. I've got to wonder if my mystery Mum/Dendranthema is 'Sheffield Pink.' That & 'Clara Curtis' are the most attractive of the Mum crowd. Love that autumn foliage.

Too funny - I'll bet you notice that chunk of sod more than you ever would have noticed the sprinkler in those photos now! And I took another look at your mystery mum and I think it must be a Sheffield - there's nothing else (except maybe our mystery dahlias) that's quite that color... -kris
