Ooh, cuttings, I personally cant get enough. It is so fun to give to people as gifts! Horticultural karma!

Hey Kim! It's true - favorite plant cuttings make fabulous gifts and are great for karma! - So long as the recipient is pleased and doesn't turn around and try to give you all of their giant zucchini bats... -kris

Way too much trouble for me. Buying tiny little seedlings early in the spring for my small garden more than does the job on the cheap.

Heather, I can appreciate that! And buying starts might keep me from going so overboard... -kris

Oh I love propagation!! I wish I was there to help you and Gail out with the cuttings! This blog reminds me of my senior project. As always the pictures are beautiful. I always love the way the light looks in the propagation box. Anyway, missing you both and the beautiful gardens and now propagation! I am in a botany class at school that reminds me of Blithewold all the time. I'll talk to you soon. xoxo

Hey Lilah! We miss you too and could really use your help taking cuttings. - You have the knack! I hope that school is beyond wonderful and that you've gotten to do a little guerrilla gardening. (Did you ever take snips in the dark of the night to fix the Nepeta that bugged you? - You could take cuttings while you're at it!) -kris
