Lights! I love them. Love it especially when someone climbs to the tippy top of branches to really outline a whole big tree. Our 2 pines are too giant--you'd never see the lights. But I've hung strings of white icicles inside again and hung ornaments on them since we're traveling at Christmas and don't have a tree. Did you see Pam at Digging's post about spinning under the light tree in Zilker Park? That will make you loopy!

Lynn, I hope you plan on showing some pictures of your tree - sounds even better than an indoor tree. And yes I did see Pam's post and was totally vicariously dizzy! (no wine required) -kris

totta love the spectacle! Childhood has an exuberant innocence and I rue the day I lost that! Trying to reclaim it though! Fred and Dan are the best! Next to you and Gail, that is!

Layanee, You don't strike me as a person who's at all lacking in exuberance, innocent or otherwise! -kris

We have to let our inner kid have a good time~~ and what better sense memory then Christmas lights! We don't put lights up around the house...just on our tree. But we do love to drive around to see the Christmas light competition houses each year! Gail

Gail, Like you I don't put lights up outside (though we do have a string that stays up all year inside...) and I love checking out who's got the best display in each neighborhood. Blithewold wins Bristol though there are a couple of runners up. -kris
