Wait a minute, you have the Deadheads and the....who are the others? I just have Tucker and Cooper and they tend to be no help at all. LOL Glad you had fun even if you did have to get up really early.

Layanee, we have the Deadheads, the Rockettes and the Florabundas - Martha should be so lucky! And what - you're not counting the Equipment Manager as part of your behind the scenes crew??? And what about Hailey? -kris

Well what fun! Not the 2:30 part but the rest of it. It's always so different behind the scenes and I enjoy hearing about it.

I really came by to say I saw a segment on Blithewold on my netflix rental People, Places and Plants. I so enjoyed it! I kept looking for Kris but did not see you.

Tina, it was fun! I haven't seen the PPP show and don't ever remember hearing about being on it. (I do have a terrible memory... and I must have been off that day?...) But I'll be adding it to my netflix list. Thanks for the heads up! -kris

An army of one! Well, right now I have some Portuguese guys tearing out sod for a patio, but I like to think of them more as mercenaries.

Forget Martha's show. I want to go cruise around one of her what, four houses? Each with their own gardeners and housekeepers. You've got to give her credit, she's living the life of the American nobility and doing it with style. I shall hold back my bitter, bitter envy.

Susan, it was the court jester that had me thinking Martha's truly the queen of all she surveys... You're right to hire mercenaries for sod removal. I stage a coup whenever I make myself dig sod at home. -kris
