A little bit about the author
Kristin Green is the interpretive horticulturist at Blithewold and has worked in the gardens since the summer of 2003. She is a Rhode Island Certified Horticulturist and has a BFA in painting from the University of Washington. Kris writes a regular column for East Bay, RI and South Coast, MA newspapers, has been published in Fine Gardening and People Places Plants magazines, and is an author for Timber Press.
